Olympiad

Four divisions, daily bracket tournaments, bets, weekly standings, the Sunday final and Heroes.

The Olympiad is a knockout tournament mode separate from regular tournaments. Daily tournaments run from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday holds the weekly final.

Four divisions

Four independent tournaments run every day. A fighter's specialisation decides the division:

DivisionWho enters
Warriorswarriors
Magesmages and healers
Assassinsassassins and archers
Contendersany class with Might of 13,000 or below

Contenders is the division for fighters who have not reached the strength of the main ones: its Might cap applies on the tournament day. An account may enter one character per division. Once a fighter makes the bracket, they are locked to that division until the end of the week; being cut or having the tournament cancelled does not lock them.

Entry requirements

A character qualifies when all of the following hold:

Jewelry counts for neither the slot check nor the grade check. Contenders additionally have the Might cap.

Entry and fee

Applications open on the tournament screen while registration is running. The fee is 20,000 DC for Warriors, Mages and Assassins and 10,000 DC for Contenders. The Sunday final has no fee.

The fee comes back if the tournament fails for lack of participants or if the fighter is cut by Might at freeze. The chosen character can be swapped until freeze without cancelling the entry or paying twice. The entry itself cannot be cancelled — the screen warns about that before payment.

Schedule

All times are Moscow time.

WhenWhat happens
10:00daily tournaments are announced
17:00 the day beforeregistration opens
16:00 on tournament dayentries freeze and the bracket is drawn
19:00daily tournament fights
Sunday 16:00weekly final freezes

Shortly before freeze a reminder goes out to players whose fighter qualifies while the account has no entry.

Bracket and selection

Brackets are always full: 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256 slots. With more entries than the cap, the strongest by Might take the bracket and everyone else gets the fee back. With few entries the bracket drops one step: no more than a tenth of its slots may be free passes. Fewer than eight confirmed participants cancels the tournament and returns every fee.

How fights are resolved

At freeze the server snapshots every fighter: level, equipment, gems and skills. Fights are then resolved from that snapshot, so there is no need to be online and later gear swaps change nothing. The Olympiad has no Arena buffs — fighter strength and the class matchup decide the outcome.

Results never arrive on their own: screens, the bracket and messages withhold the winner until the fight is watched or the «Show result» button is pressed. Replays stay available after the tournament.

Bets

DC can be staked on the winner of any fight, including pairs your own fighter is not in.

Payouts arrive once the fight is resolved. Stakes and winnings are listed under «My bets».

Weekly points

Every stage cleared in a daily tournament awards points inside its division:

StagePoints
Round of 2561
Round of 1282
Round of 643
Round of 325
Round of 1610
Quarter-final15
Semi-final25

Points accumulate from Monday to Saturday and are counted separately in each division.

Sunday final and Heroes

The weekly final gathers 16 fighters per division: the winners of the daily tournaments and the best by points. The final's prize pool is paid in Lunar and split between the top three places, with the champion taking the largest share. Exact amounts and extra rewards are shown on the final's screen.

An hour after the final, the champions of Warriors, Mages and Assassins become Heroes: the status is announced in the world chat and unlocks the Olympiad cosmetics set and the golden hero aura — only a reigning Hero can wear them. The Contenders champion receives a title of their own.
