Might is a single number that shows how developed a character is. Comparing fighters used to be an eyeball job — level, class, equipped gear, invested SP. Might folds all of it into one value you can put next to someone else's.
Character Might
The higher the number, the stronger the fighter overall. Might covers everything that makes a character permanently stronger: level and attributes, combat skill development, the quality and sharpening of equipped gear.
It is calculated from what is equipped right now. Take the weapon off and Might drops; put on something better and it grows. Temporary effects, potions, and buffs are not included: this is a measure of lasting form, not of the current minute.
Next to your own number sits your place in the TOP — your position in the overall Records table by Might.
Item Might
Every item carries its own Might. It exists for one purpose: to compare two items quickly, without reading through stats line by line.
Only the item itself feeds it — grade, sharpening, mounted gems, and the blacksmith's masterwork. The owner, their level, and other equipped items do not change it: the same item has the same Might on any fighter.
Do not confuse it with character Might: item Might is not added to it directly. An item affects the fighter through its stats, not through its own number.
Where it shows up
Character Might — in the arena lobby, in the opponent list, in the fight card and its log, in the clan roster, and in tournament tables.
Item Might — in the inventory, in the shop, and in the stats panel. The inventory sorts equipment by it, so the strongest pieces stay on top.
In both cases the Might icon opens a short explainer on what feeds into it.
Might and matchmaking
If your inventory holds an item stronger than the equipped one, the game shows it: a mark on the slot and a "Stronger than equipped" tag with the Might it would add. Before you search for an opponent it also warns you that your loadout is not the strongest available and points at the slots with an upgrade waiting.
This is not a cosmetic hint. The arena matches opponents against the best available gear in your inventory, not just against what you are wearing. Stashing strong items to farm easy opponents does not work — the opponents still arrive for your best loadout, while you fight in the weak one.
